It’s Gnocchi Time! 2.0 – Sweet Potato Gnocchi

I know I’ve said this before, I may not be Italian, but Italy is in my heart! One of my favorite dishes in the world is Gnocchi. There’s just something about the combination of potato and flour in a tomato sauce that makes these pillows of goodness irresistible. But of course traditional Gnocchi is made with flour which is a no no. So what did I do?!?!?! I created a gluten free recipe that is so close to the gluten version, that you can’t tell the difference. That recipe is available here.

Italian is in my heart, but Chinese is in my blood. And when I comes to choosing between my two favorite cuisines it’s nearly impossible. But who says I have to choose?! And who says it can’t be gluten Free?!

Roasted Red Pepper Pasta

There’s nothing like curling up with a bowl of pasta, covered in sauce on a rainy afternoon. I love the rain, and this rainy season has been a very wet one, so Saturday afternoons have become about curling up with a warm bowl of pasta, while watching a movie or reading a good book. Cauli-Turkey Shepherds Pie

When the garden gives you cauliflower, you make Cauli-Turkey shepherds pie! This weekend after months of waiting we finally picked our cauliflower. I must say, compared to what we get in the green grocers, it was white, huge and definitely had a look that was all its own. So, it needed something to showcase its yummy organic uniqueness. Thats when I decided to make a Shepherds Pie with a twist.

Some girls collect shoes, others collect clothes, I collect kitchen tools. And of course handbags!!! What kind of girl would I be if I didn’t have at least one fashion fav. But I can honestly say that I have a special place in my heart for all things kitchen. And just like I’ve been eyeing that Kate Spade handbag, I have been eyeing a zoodle maker for quite some time. Today I finally got one!!!

Creamy, Cream Free Salmon Alfredo

If there is one thing that I love, it’s a good bowl of Alfredo pasta. I love it with fettuccini, linguini, spaghetti, it doesn’t matter what kind, there’s just something about the mixture of cream and pasta with a little chicken or shrimp that screams comfort and calls my name.

Italian is definitely one of my favorite types of cuisine. And one of my favorite dishes; next to pizza of course, is gnocchi. The first time I discovered these delicious bites of goodness I knew it was going to be one of my faves, and it was definitely one I needed to recreate gluten free.

Everything in the Garden Korean Beef Bowl 

Having a home garden is really an awesome thing. The only drawback is when everything is ready to harvest at the same time. I kept on debating what to do with all the greens that we had and finally it dawned on me, why not make a Korean Inspired beef bowl.
